The Kitakyushu Museum of Natural History & Human History/Kitakyushu Seasons(2017/8/2 OA)

The Kitakyushu Museum of Natural History & Human History in Yahatahigashi-ku is popular for its rich exhibitions of nature and history. It’s known for its dinosaur skeleton and prehistoric diorama, but we went there to discover some little-known attractions. The world’s biggest fossil of a freshwater shark from the Paleozoic Era. A unique turtle with a charming way of swimming. There’s a great variety.
The Shunkan Watchword is “A drawer full of fascination.” We’ll show you the museum’s 15th-anniversary insect exhibition and many other attractions.
